The directions to the place (I travelled from airport) were excellent and I was met at the door by staff who were extremely knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. Although this is not an official Hostel - I really enjoyed my stay at Museum Inn. It has the feel of a traditional Prague apartment converted into individual, private rooms. If you are someone that enjoys staying in authentic locations while embracing and exploring local culture, this is for you.

Stayed at the museum inn for three nights this summer. The accomodation looked like it was recently renovated. You get your own room with a clean and pretty modern bathroom and a tiny kitchen (1 electric stove, microwave, water cooker and fridge). The place was overal clean when we arrived there. The windows are double, so when both windows are closed you don't hear the street at all. It is located at a 5 minute walk from Muzeum subway station. The only con I can find is that the matress is a bit too soft for my liking.

I cannot rate this highly enough! Absolutely stunning room, with double bed as requested (which was mega comfy!), with a brand new bathroom, with huge ceilings (is in a lovely old building being rennovated) making the room cool, with a kitchen area, fridge, sink, utensils and a hot plate for cooking (brand new), as well as free wifi. Robert was wonderful, he fetched us from the airport and gave us loads of information about Prague and recommended restaurants and areas to visit, as well as information on the trams and public transport in general. He was contactable throughout our stay, although we only pestered him to ask if he could take us back to the airport when we left. Had a fantastic holiday and will definitely be returning here to stay and revisit areas in more depth as well as some we missed.
Also, there was a Tesco 2 minutes walk away from our room. Wonderful to combat any homesickness on first day and to stock up the fridge for any breakfasts or packed lunches!
This place has everything you need as a base to explore Prague, the location is wonderful, 5 minutes walk from the top of Wenceslas Square and 15 minute walk to centre of Old Town square. Right near a main metro station and a tram stop as well. Perfect for everything! A real home from home feel.
I have ticked that this is not a budget hotel, as although the price is budget, what you get is so much more!

I booked this hostel because it was well located in the centre of Prague, close to Wenceslas Square. I read previous reviews and noted that Robert's name was frequently mentioned. However, we could not have anticipated the degree of his assistance and willingness to help us in every aspect of our short break. For a small charge he collected us from the Airport and took us to the Hostel. Set in a lovely old building, the room was on the first floor. It was very good value with new bathroom fixtures and fittings, a small kitchenette area with fridge and electric hob. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet despite being located next to a busy road. The square is only 3-4 minutes away and the Old Town Square further on is simply unmissable. Upon arrival, Robert gave us a detailed briefing on every aspect of staying in Prague, both the upsides and things to watch out for. He was spot on. I have limited mobility so hired a scooter. Even then, he was helping me to find a way to charge it overnight, nothing was too much trouble. He helped turn a short break in a truly beautiful city into a great experience. This is one City I would definitely return to, the same can be said of the Museum Inn.

This place isn't really a hostel it's an apartment let but that was fine for us. It's bare essentials only but it comes with a comfy bed, decent shower and easy walking access to all the main sites.
We were picked up from the hotel by Jan who was very friendly and gave helpful tips about what to. Once you've got your keys it's all very relaxed, there isn't a reception desk or anything like that but there is a phone number for emergencies. The kitchenette is only really good for making tea and coffee but there's enough great food on the doorstep that that doesn't matter.
Altogether a good budget option if you're looking for a warm space to stay within a stones throw of the main sites.

I've red about this hotel on different forum talking about the owner Robert such a wonderful person like he really is. He spent a good hour explaining us the nicest things to see and the most economic a good places where eat and drink. This hostel definitely deserves a book!!!! Just a bit noisy because the room overlooks a big street but a very good position really well connected with the main tram lines and 2 metro lines. Thank you Robert, hope to see you soon again

Overall: 9/10 It was slightly difficult to find because of the location between Prague 1 & Prague 2 (maybe change the directions a little bit) and with the entrance to the building made from board it was a bit hard to identify, but the inside was very very good, very clean and nice and big.

A nice place if you want some privacy. The lack of common areas plus the private room don't put this hostel in the "meeting other people" category. Robert the owner is really nice and available if you want anything.

Great location, very close to the main train station. No 24hr front desk, so you need to coordinate with Robert before hand. Robert is great and helpful. Room is clean, simply but sufficiently furnished. There's a simple shared kitchen. There's also an express supermarket nearby.
